I would like to know about the Apache version supported by AlmaLinux.
Is it compatible with the latest Apache 2.4.52?
The current version of the package seems to be: httpd-2.4.37-43.module_el8.5.0+2609+b30d9eec.1.alma.x86_64
One could probably think it as version “43.1” in a branch that was originally forked from Apache 2.4.37.
I don’t know whether that resembles any upstream Apache, because Red Hat backports both security fixes and (some) features into the branch that they maintain for RHEL. See:
