Alma9 - Looking for dvb-usb-dib0700.ko.xz

Dear All,

I’m glad to join your group.

Since 5 years, I run a Centos7 based HTPC (Home Theater PC) using a HAUPPAUGE WINTV-DUET HD tuner.

Since Centos7 security support is close to end, I’m working on an AlmaLinux9 new install.

Everything looks fine, except the tuner driver dvb-usb-dib0700.ko.xz !!

The linux-firmware package provides the data, but, the drive is missing.

Any idea to get it ?

Looks like support for dvb-usb-dib0700 is in EL8 but has been removed from EL9.

I suggest you ask ELRepo to provide the driver for el9 as a kmod package. You can use ELRepo’s bug tracker.
