cPanel installation errors on Almalinux

Hello,

So I ordered a new almalinux VPS server (8.4) and wanted to install cPanel.

I followed this guide - System Requirements for AlmaLinux | cPanel & WHM Documentation

However, I’m getting this error -

Any idea what’s wrong? this is a vanilla install by the way…

Firewall - disabled
curl / perl - installed
SElinux - disabled

I hope someone can help me. I contacted my server support and this is what they told me -

“Should you experience the issues with Alma Linux 8.4 please ensure that the mirrors within your configuration are correct and crossreference them with the official mirrors to prevent inconsistencies.”

I’m not quite sure how to do that.

My requirement is, i just need to install cPanel that’s all.

Wanna give it a try again, it looks like there was an issue on the Fedora side with the EPEL repo infrastructure. It should be working now.
