I installed almalinux 9.1, which may have been a bad idea. I have an old HP laserjet 1018 (yes, a winprinter). I’ve tried using the ppd that I was using before (in CentOS 7, and kubuntu 20.04). I’ve also tried all three options in configure printer. And I’ve tried hplip-install (which doesn’t understand alma 9.
Any clues? When I reboot, I see the data being sent to the printer, but I get “rendering complete”, and nothing prints. Nothing obvious in messages or journalctl.
