Hotplugging package in AlmaLinux

“Is Hotplugging of Network Cable supported in RHEL8.4 ?
Say when network cable is plugged in, network is automatically configured & deconfigured when plugged out.

If Yes, then please let us know which package provides this functionality. We did had ifplugid earlier but now its obsolete in RHEL 8.4

NetworkManager.service, which is the default in el7 and el8.

(Not that I would have intentionally tested; I usually go through hoops to force NM more static.)
