I managed to get my printer scanner working via USB connection and the printer functionality also via WLAN. The latter by means of the GNOME printer setup searching for socket://192.168.1.102 (the IP address of the printer/scanner).
Now I am stuck with the WLAN setup of the scanner functionality.
I worked through numerous instructions that can be found on the internet but it`s trial and error, I don´t know what I am doing. The IP is never picked up no matter where I put the IP address according to online instructions. I am also not able to reproduce the working (!) setup from my old Notebook running Solus Linux.
What`s the correct way to setup a WLAN scanner on RHEL/AlmaLinux 9 using SANE?
