Hi team,

Is the latest kenrel linux-4.18.0-372.26.1.el8_6 has fully supports Intel AMX? or
Which AlmaLinux kernel version will fully support Intel AMX?
Could you share the current status?

  2. Wikipedia claims that AMX support was introduced in kernel 5.16 Advanced Matrix Extensions - Wikipedia
  3. Red Hat does backport features to packages, but would you expect it high priority to adapt code from 5.16 into something that was forked from 4.18?
  4. Run rpm -q --changelog kernel
    Does anything in the output mention AMX?
