Almalinux 9 support fingerprint log in?

I just got a new Dell Laptop 5540 by default loading Ubuntu 22.04 with OEM customized kernel: 6.1.0-1006-oem. I see the fingerprint login is working.
But I loaded Almalinux 9 the fingerprint login doe not work. From settings–> users I can not find fingerprint login, I tried command line: fprintd-enroll it returns:
GDBus error, no such device available.
From systemctl status fprintd: fprintd is running
From comandline lsusb:
harry@harry-Latitude-5540:~$ lsusb

Does anyone know Almalinux 9 support fingerprint log in or do I miss anything?

Thanks.

My guess, is that as with Windows, Dell continues its tradition of having proprietary hardware (such as a fingerprint reader) and their own, proprietary driver for it.

I don’t know if there is any fingerprint scanner support in RH/Almalinux.
