Attempt to install over VNC failing

Trying to install Almalinux8 using VNC connection with following boot options
ip=… inst.vnc inst.vncpassword=XXXX and getting on console

Starting VNC...
Could not start the VNC server. Aborting.

/tmp/vncserver.log has following lines at the end

ComparingUpdateTracker: 0 pixels in / 0 pixels out
ComparingUpdateTracker: (1:-nan ratio)

What am I doing wrong?

Well, nevermind, I’ve got it running over VNC, surprisingly enough when I gave up and attempted to install via console, anaconda suddenly offered me VNC install, just asked for password
