I can´t access my system. Initially, when entering the password into gnome, it would stay on the password screen (nothing wrong with the password!) but it would not login.
A reboot brought me into Emergency mode where I am stuck:
On the screen, it says:
Entering emergency mde. Exit the shell to continue.
Type “journalctl” to view system logs
You might want to save “/run/initramfs/rdsosreport.txt” to USB stick or /boot
after mounting them and attach it to a bug report.
I am completely stuck, can´t mount a USB stick as fdisk -l command is not found
How can I recover the system?
there is a common problem related to passwords in red-hat, alma Linux, Rockey Linux.
Please, change root pasword add a new user and remove previous user. But after some day
this type of password problem may occur in gnome desktop. I have face this type of problem in all above mentioned Linux now a day.
It is better to use without gnome desktop means minimal install.
