Hi, its possibile install cinnamon desktop on alma linux 9.2? i can install xfce but i have no idea with cinnamon
Install epel:
dnf install -y epel-release
Check for available packages:
dnf repoquery *cinnamon*
You’ll see the packages you need; probably:
dnf install -y cinnamon cinnamon-calendar-server cinnamon-control-center cinnamon-control-center-filesystem cinnamon-desktop cinnamon-menus cinnamon-screensaver cinnamon-session cinnamon-settings-daemon cinnamon-themes cinnamon-translations slick-greeter-cinnamon
(basically all the cinnamon packages without devel; you may need to check to be sure)
