How does AlmaLinux support packages contained in repositories?

Some Linux distributions provide an additional support period beyond the normal period of the software.
For example, PHP7.4 will be officially supported until November 2022, while RHEL8 will be supported until May 2029.

I am using PHP7.4 and planning to migrate from CentOS to AlmaLinux.
I would like to know how long PHP 7.4 will be supported by AlmaLinux.

AlmaLinux 8 is built from sources of RHEL 8 that Red Hat does release. Therefore, lifetime of these two distros is about same.
